B is for Beer

All the best pubs and bars in Edinburgh begin with B. I'm not exaggerating. If Neil Innes did an episode of Puddle Lane about Edinburgh pubs, he would shuffle up and down the High Street frowning "Buh... buh...". I've highlighted the extra good Bs.

The Bailie Bar
Bannermans - Banging live rock!
Basement Bar
The Barony
Belfry
Biblos
Bierex
Black Bo's Bloody rude staff!
Black Bull(Leith Street) Belhaven!
Blind Poet
Borough
The Brass Monkey Big carpeted opium den in the back!
Burlington Bertie The best.

What was the name of that place with the wailing loos that we got pissed in RR?

It was Jekyll & Hyde's. Which is a cool place when it's just you, me and a scold's bridle, but generally it's let down by the office monkey clientele. X

I never went to any of the Pubic Triangle pubs. I dunno why. Did you?

I went to a pub in Edinburgh once, purely because it had a sign outside that said "Tonite - Sheena & her Sheepdogs". There were no sheepdogs and the pub was a brightly lit, unfurnished, wooden box with drunken bikers in it. I liked it.
